Assam CEE 2014: Admit cards available from today

The Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE 2014) admit cards will be available for downloading from Monday (May 19, 2014), with examinations scheduled on May 28 and May 29 exams. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official site by entering their application form number that was generated at the time of online application submission.

In addition to the admit card, candidates must bring a recent post card size coloured photograph with their roll number and signature at the bottom for submission to the examination conducting authority before first examination.

The Assam CEE 2014 is being conducted by the Dibrugarh University for admission to professional Medical MBBS, Dental BDS and Engineering BE/B Tech courses within the state of Assam. The examinations will be held across nine examination centers on May 28, 2014 and May 29, 2014.

The Assam CEE 2014 examination consists of four subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The Physics and Chemistry examinations will take place on May 28 (Physics from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and Chemistry exam from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM) while the Biology and Mathematics examination will take place on May 29 (Biology from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and Mathematics exam from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM).

Candidates are to appear for the subjects according to the course applied for. Those candidates applying for MBBS /BDS courses must appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology exams; candidates applying for engineering degree courses must appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics examinations and candidates interested in both medical and engineering courses are required to appear for all four examination subjects.

Each examination paper consists of 100 multiple choice questions for one mark each with no negative marking. The syllabus will be based on NCERT syllabus as followed by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
