Aamir Khan And Narendra Modi: From Fanaa To Satyamev Jayate

Aamir Khan once faced protests when Narendra Modi led Gujarat for his opposition to the Gujarat government’s decision to increase the height of the Narmada dam. There was even a partial ban on his film Fanaa. But as they say time heals everything as all seems well between Aamir Khan and our Honorable Prime Minister of India Shree Narendra Modi.

Aamir Khan met Narendra Modi at the Prime Minister’s office in South Block at Raisina Hills. The Prime Minister’s Office later described the meeting as a courtesy call.

As per sources, Aamir Khan discussed several social issues with Shree Narendra Modi, and he also carried a DVD box-set of his reality show Satyamev Jayate which he gifted to him. While Shree Narendra Modi shared photos of the meeting on social networking sites while Aamir Khan took to twitter to share about his experience.

Aamir Khan wrote, “Just came out of my meeting with Honorable Prime Minister of India Shree Narendra Modiji. Was very kind of him to spare his valuable time. Shared with him the overwhelming support that we got from people across the country through Vote For Change campaign on Satyamev Jayate on the various issues that we tackled in our show. He has assured me that he will look into all the matters.”

The Vote For Change episode, which was aired in the run up to the last Lok Sabha Elections, focused on criminalisation of politics in India while urging the voters to cast their votes to make a difference.
