XOLO Windows operating system phone launching soon

Micromax is ready to launch two new handsets powered by the Windows 8.1 operating system platform in two days. Is it all we will see on Windows OS this month? XOLO is ready to bring surprises to its fans very soon.

After launching a good tablet powered by the Windows OS at Rs. 19990 in India, the company will launch a Windows OS based phone in India.
According to a report published in the Times of India, sources have revealed that the company is gearing up to introduce its first Windows Phone-based, ultra-light smartphone in early July. This could be based on the Windows 8.1 OS and weight abouot 100 grams.

This could sport a display screen of 4.7 inch and a Snapdragon 200 processor. More details of the handset has not been revealed. The phone could be priced below Rs. 12000.

Micromax is expected to release two Windows handsets in two days at price points between Rs. 10K to Rs. 11K and between Rs. 6K to Rs. 7K.

After Microsoft made the Windows OS free for the Indian manufacturer, more compnaies are expected to come up with low-cost Windows OS phones in the country this year. In two months we will see a list of new Windows smartphones.
