LG G Flex 2 now available in India

LG announced the launch of its second curved phablet, the LG G Flex 2, for the Indian market on April 30, 2015.

The newly launched LG G Flex 2 features a 5.5-inch (1080 x1920 pixels) Full HD P-OLED curved display, with a pixel density of 403ppi. The company claims that the 700mm radius curvature of LG G Flex 2 delivers a better viewing experience from any angle. It is built around a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset, which features a 2.0-GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and Adreno 430 graphic processor. It runs on Android Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. On the camera front, the LG G Flex 2 sports a 13MP primary shooter and 2MP front-facing camera. LG has used the Laser Auto Focus camera for the G Flex 2 as well.

The company also claims that the camera of LG G Flex 2 can capture photos in low light conditions, by measuring the distance between the subject and the camera using a laser beam. Gesture Shot, Gesture View and Glance View are the other camera features added to the LG G Flex 2 phablet.

Its Gesture Shot feature can recognise the hand gesture and click a decent selfie photo. Gesture View will allow you to check your last shot immediately after taking a photo or selfie. The Glance View on LG G Flex 2 displays key information such as time, recent messages or missed calls with a downward swipe of the curved screen even while the display is off. Its Fast Charge helps you recharge the 3,000mAh battery of G Flex2 up to 50 per cent within 40 minutes.

On the connectivity front, the LG G Flex 2 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth Smart Ready (Apt-X) 4.1, NFC, SlimPort, A-GPS / Glonass and USB 2.0. The 16GB and 32GB variants of LG G Flex 2 will be available in two colours - Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red.
