Microsoft to help Andhra Pradesh get low cost Internet

To deliver low-cost Internet connection to users Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu linked with the Software giant Microsoft.Through unused TV spectrum by using the TV White Space technology they can deliver low cost internet connectivity in rural areas.The Microsoft,DOT,ERNET and DEITY are working together to deliver low-cost Internet connection in AP.
By using this TV White Space technology theycan deliver the internet services in any typical situations also. Microsoft dynamically allocates unused TV spectrum for internet broadband transmission without disrupting the regular TV transmissions.

Andhra Pradesh,Chief Minister(CM) said,“I have always experimented with technology to take the services and welfare programmes to people. With this pilot project, Microsoft has shown that innovation and technology can make a society technologically advanced.”

Microsoft India (R&D) Pvt. Ltd,Managing Director,Anil Bhansali said,”This is a pioneering step undertaken by the government of AP and Microsoft is happy to be supporting it. We believe that machine-learning technology can help both educators and students to make insightful decisions by analysing large volumes of data. It also offers the potential to transform the future of skilled workforce in India,” said  Bhansali.
